📈 Economic Transformation & Livelihoods
Shaping the policies that drive broad-based economic opportunity across Africa
Building Economies That Work for Everyone
Africa is home to some of the world’s fastest-growing economies and its youngest population — yet economic growth has too often failed to translate into broad-based opportunity, decent work and rising living standards for the majority. The structural transformation needed to change this requires deliberate, evidence-based policy choices across multiple interconnected domains.
Afrodevelopment works at the intersection of labour markets, agriculture, investment, technology, energy and urbanisation — providing governments and development institutions with the analysis they need to design policies that drive inclusive growth, create quality livelihoods and position Africa’s economies for the challenges of the 21st century.
