Africa’s development stories need to be told more by Africans.
We prioritise what matters to the people.
Not what sits atop academic and political agendas. We emphasise the uniqueness of Africa as a key reference point in her march to development, and partner with think tanks, research centres and multilateral agencies who share that belief.

Research
We formulate research questions around development problems to be solved, particularly in under-studied areas — spanning people-centred services, governance and political economy, and sustainable development.

Practice
We address key topics, facilitate dialogue, analyse events and assess strategies — through capacity building, knowledge communication and media, and advisory and technical assistance.

Policy
We provide evidence-based policy choices for development stakeholders working to address poverty in all its forms — across economic, social and environmental agendas.
