Practice Theme 3
🔧 Advisory & Technical Assistance
Providing expert guidance to governments, institutions and development organisations working to create lasting change in Africa
From Ideas to Implementation
The gap between development knowledge and development action is where the greatest losses occur. Afrodevelopment’s advisory and technical assistance work bridges that gap — providing governments, NGOs, donors, international organisations and private sector actors with the expert support they need to turn good intentions into effective programmes.
We provide independent, evidence-based analysis through technical reports, case studies and policy briefings. We embed with partners to support programme design, implementation oversight and evaluation. And we bring an Africa-centred perspective — rooted in deep knowledge of the continent’s political, social and institutional realities.
